Azuma Degustation: Magnifique
AG and I were headed to the City to attend GT’s 21st at Bar 333, but decided to have a nice meal before we head there. We came across Azuma (Town Hall), a one-chef-hat Japanese restaurant serving kushiyaki (skewers) amongst other mouth-watering dishes. We did not make a booking, so we were told to wait for a bit. When our table was ready, the waiter sat us down and gave us the menus. We couldn’t decide what to get! So we went for one of the 6 course degustation menus ($77 per person), and had green tea with it.
The food were beautifully presented, and taste were very unique unlike the ordinary Japanese restaurants offered. The service was great; they served the food according when we finished our dish. And because of my lactose-intolerance, we aked for a lactose-free dessert (but OMG, the chocolate mousse looked so divine!) to which they happily complied. By the end of our meal, we were quite filled! Must have been from our pace (enjoyed it slowly) and the amount of meat served. We both enjoyed it immensely, and agreed to come by again for the lunch menu (cos the noodles are apparently awesome!)
