Read moreMr AG has been hassling me to try this restaurant… So I gave in.
We got to the restaurant early, and saw people queue before it was opened.
So we figured we might do the same to secure our place.
Turned out it was necessary after all; this place is damn popular!
Efficient system (ordering by marking which ones you’d like, and waiters/waitresses delivering your food to your table). And most importantly, the food was yum.

I like the decorative dumpling thingys on the wall!

Our initial order

Blue coral. Lychee mint juice.
The green one was very interesting; lychee and mint drink (very sweet but nice touch with the combination). The blue was just a soft drink of some sort…?

Veg delight

Prawn pork jiao ze

Crab pork dumpling

Prawn pork won tons

Pork bun

Fried pork chop noodle
I love that the dumplings had soup inside… totally makes it way enjoyable!
And the lychee mint drink is a tad sweet, but really yum!
Oh, and the lonesome bun looks hilarious XD
Would definitely visit there again!

Miss DZ recently went for a trip to Malaysia, and bought me a pretty gift

We ended up going to Tokyo Ria, upstairs in World Square for dinner and chit chat. Pretty place, decent food, nice atmosphere =D

As we finished up, we walked out to some street performers (Beat the Streets).
They were entertaining, and knew how to rock the crowd. ^_^

Trying a restaurant we haven’t tried tonight.

Negi-shio ox tongue
SO! GOOD! YUM!

Wagyu tenderloin
Again, SO DAMN GOOD! When cooked, it was seriously tender, tasty, and hearty. It was perfect!

Tuna salad
Interesting; would eat again A++++ (eBay reference)

And some cooking happening

And a complementary seaweed salad ship sushi from the apologetic manager/owner (?) for the long service. We didn’t think so and tipped them right back!
Overall, a very good experience ^_^

Had dinner at Mushashi at Pitt St, Sydney.
We were ordering to share but since it is some special Chinese new year kinda thing (yeh, my heritage that I do not know about!), I had to eat vegetarian the whole day…
So anything green (minus meat of course) in the pics… it was probably mine ^_^;

My vegetarian sushi set (today, out of all days, I need to eat vegetarian… for some Chinese event/day)
And then chilled at Starbucks, had a catch up chat.
