Party At Mum’s Christmas Party

0 Comments so far

Mum’s company’s Christmas Party~
Mum, Brother, AG & I went ^~^

AG and I got drawn by cartoonists~

Should’ve went to the funny guy…

His highlights:
Remark #1: I’ll draw you as the big bellied Buddha
Remark #2: Should I do you as a Princess, dancer, or a stripper?
Remark #3: Do you want me to make your chest look bigger? (Lady: Oh no, when I go home, I’ll get slapped!)

Mmm… Food wasn’t that great~ (especially dessert… I swear it looked alright!) But functions like these isn’t about the food.

Music was oldish, mid 90′s or something…

A lot of people dressed crazily… there were santas, Mrs Clauses, elves, fairies… and some were just plain weird… *cough* the hairy guy in a fairy princess dress who dances really funkily *cough* >.>

I even took some piccies too~

But generally, I had fun!

The Ashes: Aussies 2-0

Caught a virus =(
Feel horrible ><
Went doctors & waited for 2½ hours… ><;

But who cares about all that…

We won the 2nd Ashes test!!!!!

Superb performance by the bowlers!
We took England for 129 in the second inning after their massive 551 runs in the first.

Expatiating corner

I’m never having Boost from Burwood Westfield’s anymore:

  1. rude (saying “thanks” would be nice… oh and calling out our names would be good too, you asked for it after all)
  2. can’t follow instructions (tastes wrong and there are chunky bits in it)
  3. stingy with yogurt (tastes like an ice-crush when I ordered a smoothie)… and it didn’t just happen once or twice, it happened every time I had it from there! *gives a dissatisfied Jono/Happy-cup look*

Bowlingness

AG & I waited around at North Ryde and then met JonL, Lily, AKT, Katy & Dani at Hornsby (Westfields).

Some couldn’t make it: HCl (too pov and lazy), Amy (work) and Jessie (work) =(

After lunch, we went bowling~

Had 2 games, we all played except AG (aching feet)~

Katy won 1st round (whatta pro!! Armani power!!!)

JonL won 2nd (with all those strikes, especially that double at the end!)~

I lost 2nd round ><;;;

*cough*AG telling me how to bowl wrongly*cough* -_-

Me & Katy also broke our nails =( Ouchiness!

Did the randomest things… photo shooting “shoes united”, stick on tattoos, random games, sticker photo-ing (which Dani has in her bag~ Hope colour’s not faded since it was in such bad quality)… ^_^;; as well as a bowler’s pic and a halo Jono pic…

JonL had to go and the rest of us went window shopping~

Having more girls than guys, we went to the girly shops while the guys got really bored, especially AKT…

AKT: *walks around* …Hm, so many clothes here…
Me: *falls over, sweat-dropping* Go figure.

T’was funnnn ^-^
And funnny! ><;

The Ashes First Test: Australia’s Victory

Wai~ <3 Come on Aussies come on~! Great game! ^^

It was second day at the Gabba, and after getting England all out for 157, Ponting didn’t enforce the follow-on, meaning Aussies up for bat.

We declared at 1/202 (Anderson making a pretty cool runout on Hayden) with Langer making his century.

England was up for batting their 2nd inning on the 4th day.

After the 3rd wicket, Australia just wasn’t getting any wickets, and I was beginning to get worried.

Turned out I had nothing to worry about for this test; Australia took 5 wickets by the end of the day.

The game ended with Warnie and Clark taking down an impressive 4 wickets each, Lee and McGrath; one each.

The Englands totalled up up to a good 370 for second inning (with Pietersen and Collingwood both missing out on their centuries by just a few runs… Ouch!), but Australia still leads by 277 runs.

Man of the match: Ricky Ponting.

Genetics Exam

0 Comments so far

Finishing our genetics exam (which, by the way, killed me in the worst ever possible way… I don’t want to think about it), we went to the beach ^.^ (Despite living on literally 6 hours of sleep in the past 48 hours X_x)

EN, Jess, Tracy, Ian, Josh, Emily, Micky, Kirsten, me & AG went Coogee beach…
JeyS, WenZ & Carol came along but left right after since they haven’t swimming suits ><

It was really nice though, relaxing to the sound of the crashing waves and chilling in the sun (more like “BBQing” for AG though >.~)

We had a good time all in all (after all that stress) ^.^

Two Aches

0 Comments so far

Woke up in the morning with the sharpest jabbing pain in my right ribs and kidney… >< OUCH!

Met up with AG today and ate at Bankstown…

After, our family (minus AG) went Yum cha…

Had the worst persisting headache >< OUCH!

Had a haircut… (I mistaken a male hairdresser for a lady -.-’)

Then went home and slept, hoping the headache would go away… and it didn’t. On top of that, the jabbing pain came back again to my ribcage.

Gah, it sucks.

Bad bad baaaaaaad day!

0 Comments so far

A bad bad start to a bad bad day would have to be stepping out of the car and landing on a puddle of mud, having it all over your leg and thongs, badly.

I think I managed some on my dress as well. Go me!

Another bad start to a bad bad day was being 30 minutes late for the first class. Usually it’s not so bad but having to travel 2 hours for 2 hours worth of lesson on the last day of uni AND being so late is NOT my idea of fun.

Weather was gloomy too.

But the thing that made it worse was, despite all that, having a bad bad stomach ache without medication handy.

I got out of the train station and almost stacked it, twisting my waist badly and giving me a scare.

Right waist aching, I called my dad to pick me up. Decided to skip, I rested until 9…
I thought, “wait a minute, this can be a fresh start since the day couldn’t get any worse”

Hm.
Nup.

So I asked my dad to drive me to station only to get yelled at for not telling him earlier…
Me flaming like a lit cigarette tip, I slammed the door only to remember I’ve forgotten the keys and couldn’t go back in for my umbrella or jacket ><

Scrap that.

I walked to the station, on the bus and to my tutorial.

Yep, I went uni only for that tutorial (but I had to since I wanted to get my math test back – which wasn’t as great as expected anyway – still I’m glad… could’ve been a lot worse).

Hung out with Jess in the math area for a while (she was having a crisis of her own) because it was pouring outside.

Having no umbrella nor jacket (and being in a short dress), I was freezing my ass off like crap… but I managed on the trains without sneezing too much.

I’ve been putting off this form I had to fill for Centrelink (which was due today), so I was gonna go home, fill it in and then hand it in…

…But dad went to pick my grandma up from the hospital and drop her to nursing home and had all these frustrating paperwork to do… he couldn’t make it home till 3…

I found that out when I was at Campsie… so I had no keys to go home, no place to go…

So I decided to go gymming at AG’s (North Strathfield… which takes a bit of effort going to).

Upon arrival, I received a call from dad telling me he’d be home by 1/2 an hour… Told him I’d be shopping and would come back at 3:30 (come on, I was nearing the gym…)

After 15 mins on treadmill, 15 on cross trainer and a 3-set pull up, I was sweating like ew.

Got back to Burwood station, got castigated at by my dad for being irresponsible, forgetful and too dependent.

Pure massacre.

Yeah. Not my day.
Didn’t really improve either.

Dad is still in grunge mode,
AG was probably suffocating (I went into petty-mode on him)…
I’ve gone emo…

And it’s not even that time of month yet!

But it’s all good.
Just not a day I should’ve woken up to.

Life’s a b*tch sometimes.
Too bad I can’t slap it ’round.

Makes a nice thought though.

Amy’s 19th & Hanging With Our Tutor

0 Comments so far

Amy organised a beach outing and everyone was hyped up to go beaching~

I was one of them who said they’d go!

But thing is, I had to be back by 2pm for my genetics lab~ =(

I was still gonna go though…

They ended up leaving at 12:30 and by that time, I kinda changed my mind~ So I didn’t end up going with the gang yet again!

That’s 3/3 times I couldn’t make it – with the most valid reasons. >< Damn!

Anyway~ Genetics lab (our last one!!!) was alright, another surprise test (which this time really was a surprise because the last time we had a test, Tim said it was our last)!

The after lab bit was fun, glad I went! =)

Went unibar with Tim, Josh, Em, Anthony and David.

Tim bought first rounds (3 jugs) and Josh bought second (2 jugs… geeze, I wonder if they ended up finishing all that!)~

It was fun despite being the only one not drinking from the group…

But heck, I was just as drunk (read: natural high) as the ones who’d had a few dozen of beers >_>

But yeah, unibar was packed because it had this let’s-get-sh*t-faced end of year party thing going on.

Ended up leaving later than planned, but all’s good.

Great even! =)

Week 14′s AG Day

0 Comments so far

Met up with AG and went gymming from 9:30 till 12:30~

I’m starting to get hooked on gymming, but still not too thrilled about weights~ >< Ouchie afterwards!

Then went uni the rest of the time.

Had 2 math lessons and both of them, Amy & I went high on pot and natural sugarless sugar surge~ ^^;

That was exhausting being that drunk! And what’s with the song I’m listening to?! (Evanescence – Call me when you’re sober)
