Friday night, nothing better than to listen to some music while cleaning my room a bit (since it has become a bit of a pigsty again), prancing around like a ballerina behind closed doors (I was a tad high before that).

Then I got bored of that after 10 minutes… so I moved on to my clothes drawer, which was overflowing with unfolded clothes… yay.

A cull would be lovely, I thought. With mum, we went through everything there, and everything was either “I can wear that to sleep” or “I can layer this under clothes for winter” or “we can use this as rags”… So at the end, I must have actually picked out 5 max to throw out!

I didn’t even bother going through my wardrobe after that; I just know that there was no chance I would throw anything out (such a hoarder)! As a side note, I saw somewhere that there’s a phone app called iDresser that’s meant to organise your clothes, and stuff… I wonder if that’s any good… I’d be interested to try it. I’ve always thought the virtual outfit organiser in Clueless an awesome idea!

Anyway, I love love love stockings,  leggings, tights, and OTK socks… and I got curious as to how many pairs of these babies I own. So I did a list. Here goes:

A random fashion thought was raised today when I had a chat with my professor today… Strange, but true.

So my professor loves to use random expressions/phrases… And when we were about to have a chat, he asked me to take a seat and pull a sock up.

I was wearing stockings, but started to pulled my ankle socks up (I like taking his expressions literally).

That’s when he commented, “that’s weird, wearing socks with stockings”.

Curious, I asked him “really, how so?”, to which he gave an awesome reply of “I don’t know, I don’t wear stockings!”.

Skip the mental images (which was indeed very weird), I wondered if wearing socks on stockings was a common thing or not.

Personally, I wear socks to protect my stockings from ripping inside whatever shoes I’m wearing… Especially since my feet/toes can rip through anything. Another reason is for comfort.

I love how warm it has become this week, after a gloomy and rainy week the last!

All that sun has sent me into smiley mode!

Anyway, I decided to have a go at my tan skirt, a colour I didn’t think I’d wear a few years back, but now loving (though I do feel that the nude/brown/tan colours look strange on me, especially if they’re tops)! Plus, this is my effort to wear more than just blacks, red, whites, and purples.

Speaking of bow stockings brings heartache as it reminds me of my own pair… What happened?

Well, let me tell you this; my feet/toe nail (?) has a horrible reputation for being harsh on stockings… So the first time I wore my bow stockings, I actually wore socks underneath to protect my stockings them…

Fast forward 12 hours of walking around in lab, my feet decided to be a little nasty, and pierced through both my socks AND my stockings, leaving a massive hole in the poor things! So, my first time wearing them is probably my last also. What a waste, as I really loved them!

Anyway.
Let’s not talk about that anymore.

Oh, another thing I just remembered! I’ve been looking for ages for one of my bow rings (yes, an ASOS one), and I still can’t find it (this one here)… But I guess I have another 3 bow rings around, so that’s okay…

So.

Other times when I’m not browsing ASOS for bows, I browse Alannah Hill!
